Having first been introduced to yoga in 1995 as a way to de-stress and to find balance in a demanding corporate life, I immediately fell in love with the philosophy behind the practice. I have been teaching yoga for over 11 years, completing my Yoga Alliance Accredited Teacher Training at the renowned Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Centre in India in 2008. I have since also qualified in teaching Pilates, pre and postnatal yoga.
I believe yoga is about inner changes and awareness, an opportunity to connect with one’s inner being. It is this heightened awareness and experience through my practice, as well as my passion to share with others the positive impact of yoga on one’s wellbeing, that continues to draw me back to the mat.
